What’s it matter? The UFC more and more doesn’t give a shit about anything. If they want Periera to fight Izzy for the belt off a loss they’ll do it.

At the top of my head, without looking it up, the only fighter I know of to ever get a title shot off a “loss” was Nick Diaz
And that was for two simple reasons. One, everybody and their brother knows Nick beat Carlos 48-47. And two, they’re already had been build up and excitement for Nick vs George and they both still wanted to fight one another
