Boxing's most brutal body beatings (post ur faves)

Pac Man vs. Morales II.

Once of the most savage, extended body beatings I've seen in a while.

Marciano-LaStarza II. Rock won a disputed close decision while an up and comer. In defending his title, he left no question marks. Banging relentlessly to LaStarza body, arms, hips and everywhere else, he beat the stuffing out of the challenge en route to a brutal stoppage.
Roberto Duran vs. Davey Moore.
in this one, veteran Duran gives upstart champ Moore a vicious pouncing upstars and downstairs. It's one of Duran's vintage performances, as he utilizes his vast advantage in experience to take on a naturally bigger guy and just destroy him. After he won the crowd in MSG chanted "Happy Birthday" to him. A great moment and a huge win that revitalized his career. The way he takes Moore apart, piece-by-piece, is a real master work of the sweet science.

one of my favorites ever -- J.C. Chavez' dismantling of Rican rival Edwin Rosario. Rosario was a huge puncher with a pretty good chin, and Chavez just took him apart with constant pressure and a downstairs attack.
CRE -

IS THIS NOT WHY YOU ARE HERE?!!

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!!!!

Somebody call Jr a wambalance

Duran v Moore was brutal. I just read Hands Of Stone, I highly recommend it.

It wasn't a brutal beating, but watch Roy Jones Jr take out Virgil Hill with a single body punch. It sounds like somebody cracking a whip when it lands.

Oh, and the "Classless Erik Morales" video.

His opponent was called something like The Boy Veladez (correct me if I'm wrong) and was completley outclassed. He had knocked out Morales brother in a fight and been bragging about it, thats why Morales taunted him.

Not my faves by any means, but probably the worst:

Boom Boom Mancini vs Duk Koo Kim
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThQFPJpVtK8

Kim collapsed in the ring in a coma, and died from the beating.

Emile Griffith vs Benny Paret was also a bad beating that resulted in a death, but I can't find the video itself.

i meet erick morales years ago. IM a small guy but he made me look big. lol i guess that not the case anymore.

I'll post more later

Ward vs. Gatti fights had some brutal body punching in them

Hopkins disposes of Oscar De La Hoya with a brutal left to the side

                                                                      Stand up like a MAN!

That right hand that Hearns finished Duran with may have been the best punch to ever land in boxing. Brutal.

o this thread was about bodt shots...hahaha my bad

You are probably right. That was brutal. I'm surprised he didn't die.

Hopkins disposes of Oscar De La Hoya with a brutal left to the side

I was ringside at this fight and De La Hoya was squealling like a girl after that liver shot

That right hand from Hearns probably would have killed anyone else lol.

I think the worst beating sustained by both men was Meldrick Taylor vs Julio Ceasar Chavez. I remember they did a special on HBO a few years later in RealSports and the fight doctor who was ringside at that fight said Taylor was pissing pure blood.
