His standup is light years ahead of where he was in WEC....
His leg kicks were fucking powerful and now he's throwing combos....
Pretty cool that he had members of Seal Team 6 in the arena for the fight

Poindexter - He's a good spokesman/representative. He's got some holes he has to fill in his game for sure.
As does absolutely everyone in the sport...
he is a perfect poster boy for the new face of the ufc.

BEEP?
Actually would love to see Stann vs Bisping. He's kind of like a harder throwing, less scared version of Bisping, but maybe with less wrestling.
He's a beast at 185 for sure.
I was impressed with his hands last night, both offensively and defensively.
Watched his episode of "Fighting Words" awhile back and I really like this guy. And although his game does has holes as most if not all fighters do, his improvement from when he won the WEC 205 title has been vast.
STann vs Timm Kennedy?
could you imagine that fight?
I would like to see Stann against Paul Harris. I think him and Toquinho are ranked pretty similarly, just outside the top contenders. This would be a good fight for one to establish himself and test Stann's td/sub defense.
The guy is a living hero after reading his wikipedia page and hearing him talk but there is something that is off to me that I can't put my finger on. It's like his interviews are always so perfect and say all the right things to the point where they almost seem scripted, either that or he is just the ultimate spokes-person. He's entertaining to watch fight as well.

Most officers you meet conduct themselves very professional at all times and are very good leaders and talkers. You are just seeing the ultimate UFC spokesperson!
No more "former" before Marine, as per the Commandant:
"A Marine is a Marine. I set that policy two weeks ago - there's no such thing as a former Marine. You're a Marine, just in a different uniform and you're in a different phase of your life. But you'll always be a Marine because you went to Parris Island, San Diego or the hills of Quantico. There's no such thing as a former Marine."
The Commandant of the Marine Corps, General James F. Amos

That's been the policy of any Marines I've ever had the pleasure of meeting/working with.

the reason they are phukin with phael is so he wont come in and smash the much more marketable stann imo
too much money has been invested into stann to not give him some sort of belt
^^^^ and too much time has been wasted on count bingo, dana will not phael this tyme
