Brian Stann is the man

KoksukioTookItGreek - Thank you, Daddy Rorny Michael and WhiteWhale. At least SOME people get it. It has nothing to do with patriotism. It's about seeing the clear picture. And regarding Cardo Urso, I actually did have an intellectual (lol) conversation with him about it. It's okay to have an open mind. It doesn't make you a "hippy" or "coward". In fact, not having an open mind makes you blind to the truth and eventually unhappy. <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>

You're taking a lot of time to type to explain how open minded and patriotic you are.

What was Stann's "military bullshit" and if you'd be first in line if we were attacked, why didn't you enlist after 9/11?

Because, you dummy, it was revealed weeks, even days later, that the attack was a terrorist one executed by some extremist cowards. In fact, the whole US attack on Iraq following 9/11 was misguided. So in retrospect, I think it's obvious that me wasting my academic career and possibly life over an isolated incident would've been a stupid mistake. I have to admit though that the thought crossed my mind at the time. I was angry and wanted revenge. But then certain facts began coming out about how the US (government) was not so innocent. They were even accused of being behind it at some point! So I guess I dodged the bullet there. But make no mistake, my mind was not changed from fear, but rather the absence of it (as there was no REAL threat to my country and especially family). And as far as Stann, what gets on my nerves is how he is constantly billed as a serviceman and how we are constantly fed nonsense propaganda by the UFC itself.

With or without pants malaka?

I had to look up the reference.

^^LOL.

You talked yourself out of enlisting (even though you still say you'd be the first in line to fight if we were attacked), and you are justifying it by explaining how you might have wasted your academic aspirations of becoming a gym teacher and amateur MMA "journalist".

Then you attack Stann for his "military bullshit" after he dedicates his fight to a friend who was killed in action.

What a man of character you are.

I wasn't referring to his friend dedication. I meant all of the saluting he does/did and all of the constant reminding that he "served my country". I don't understand what you don't get. It seems that I have hit a nerve with you about it. Are you related to Stann or just a blind follower of American government propaganda? Or just retarded? Either one would explain a lot and justify why I should ignore you from now on. Anyway, it's been fun, Gentlemen. salute Phone Post

It doesn't surprise me that you don't understand. Unless you've dedicated a part of your life to military service, as Stann has and I have, you probably wouldn't understand why fighting for something bigger than yourself, and for people other than yourself, is important and makes someone proud to have served and sacrificed.

Sorry you consider that to be bullshit. Continue with the important work of developing the kickball lesson plan for gym class on Monday, and your next interview at Ring of Combat.

Good night. I thought that you thought all this was trivial and you were going to bed an hour ago.
