I've been "lurking" on these boards for about a year or year and a half. I almost never post because as someone who has only been into MMA for about 4 years now, I don't feel I know enough to get into discussions or even disagreements with folks on this board who have obviously been lifelong fans of MMA. I wouldn't presume to just start posting on a board acting like I know what I'm talking about. I have learned a lot about mixed martial arts from these boards and hopefully will continue to do so. With that said, Art has been a passion of mine since I was a child. Went to art school, took some classes at the School of Visual Arts, took some classes at Parsons.Won a scholarship for art school at SVA. This I can talk about knowing that my opinion is informed. I may not work full time as an artist, but it is a passion of mine.
This chick is hot. No argument.She is not a good artist. She obviously cuts out stencils or projects images onto whatever surface she paints on and then traces it and colors it in with black. Let her create an image from scratch, even if she uses photos for reference but tell her to stop tracing them and I will take her seriously as an artist. She shouldn't get a pass as an "artist" because she holds up a card board card and walks around in tight little short shorts. I have had friends with more talent in their little finger that can't afford a value meal at Mcdonald's because they can't catch a break and yet they never complain. They are happy being artists. This bimbo is going to have people buying her work because she gets half naked on TV. I know...life is unfair. But damn ! It's not always easy to accept that.
If she wants to be taken seriously, she also needs to stop posing naked in front of her "artwork".
