He retired from the testing pool so his supension was frozen, if he enters the testing pool again, he has to sit out the remaining time of his suspension.
I thought i remember reading that.
He left the testing pool like 6 months in or something.

No way he can fight this year for thr UFC.
its a 6 months minium, just for retirement. so july 19 + 6 months = janauri 19

He could be given another exemption. Hope so, just for the shit storm that would bring

since Hunt sued the fuck out everybody, i don't think the ufc would risk it again.

He was suspended a year, the suspension is up last week I believe
Bellator should offer him McGregor money... this is their chance. Have him pound on whoever the hell they have at HW and make him the first ever UFC and Bellator champ.
I was told neither November or December are on the radar today.
Back in the pool tells you he has to be planning on returning.
---------
This is a good move for him. Since he's a one-off fighter, UFC can book him in a 'fun' fight. At his age, he has what, 2-3 fights left in him? Huge payoff too, of course.
May as well do it now. He can do the WWE gig for another 5-6 years if he wanted to.

But fighting? Another year or two, probably.
Athletic commissions don't freeze suspensions, and that's the only one that matters

Alvarez
No UFC champ has ever become a Bellator champ after, maybe thats what he meant

Thanks but I was absolutely incorrect. For some reason my brain wasn't thinking the other way around. Sorry about that. When Benson was going for it, Alvarez didn't do it yet right? I know I was thinking that for a reason lol

4 months I believe which is the time he would have had to sit out regardless coming back from retirement. Makes sense for NYC card in Nov.
