Spoiler alert.

The story, acting, plot holes are all garbage.

  • Halle’s boyfriend goes from supportive in the first scene to her biggest obstacle throughout the movie.
  • little kid who can’t talk was so useless. So predicable that he’d finally say his first words at the end.
  • Not believable that her trainer is some MMA guru. And wtf happened at the end when she showed up with injuries?
  • Worst is that Halle is over 50! She looks younger than that but at least 40. Terrible choice of actress. She would have been better cast as the abusive mom.

3/10 at best

Yeah it fucking sucked.
The boyfriend went from caring about her and the kid to being abusive to both of them. About as suddenly as she started dyking it up with female Adesanya.
Just a terrible movie.

Everyone involved with making the movie was so excited for it. I even got interviewed ahead of time about it and how I felt that Invicta was being highlighted. I was like, Um I dunno, I gotta see the movie first…

I was disappointed. The training scenes and fight scenes were cool…but not all women bang their managers and coaches. I thought it made female fighters look bad, actually.
I like Halle Berry and her acting was good. I know she trained hard for this and put her heart into the movie. I wished a few plot points were different…

Halle Berry’s mom dropped off the kid and was shown to be a terrible parent. But then wants to parent the kid later.

Invicta promoter is supportive of Berry, then Berry stands him up and he turns against her but then just flips and cheers for her over his champion.

Then right after fucking her Israel Adesanya looking trainer broad she fucking dumps her right before her fight like an idiot resulting in Scissorbender going on a bender and missing the match.

Her character is entirely hateable.

I made it to the first fight scene and bailed. I dunno how anything past 20 minutes went, but it’s tough to have a fight movie with bad fights composed entirely of unlikeable characters.

best MMA movie of all time! Halle Berry is a true artist! 8.7/10 she trains with the best and I think she could even get some wins in MMA. 2 or 3 fights bring her in the UFC for a title shot. massive numbers!!!
