thx

Those 2 points were very questionable.

fantastic match. I could watch these two go at it over and over...Terrible strategy for Roldolfo with seconds left, going for the legs. I thought he was going to have Buchecha mounted early on. Solid and relentless passing pressure.

That was a boring match Phone Post 3.0

Strategically you are right but that's the thing about these two guys, they always go for the kill and that's what makes them great and their matches so exciting!

Parts of this match looked just like their worlds one. Buchecha plays that half really well, looks like Rodolfo is going to mount easily but he doesn't and ends up getting swept each time. Great strategy by Buchecha

I agree with Moff. That was not a sweep. It was a scrabble. Rodolfo was robbed

this whole sweep vs reversal/scramble thing is ridiculous. if you're on top and then by some series of moves end up on the bottom then u should get scored on. this is how Adcc scores but Abu Dhabi pro may be more like ibjjf.

but for what it's worth, Buchecha did initiate that exchange in order to end up on top - it just didn't look like a textbook bjj sweep, and nor should it have to. Phone Post 3.0

I prefer Rodolfo to Bucchecha.

More respect for him going for a kill in the dieing seconds at the risk of losing .

I dont think Rodolfo got screwed. It was just bad judgement on his part.

I do prefer Rodolfo's game. I think it's more well rounded (maybe not in knowledge or ability, just in how they chose to execute). Blends old school and nice takedowns with a mix of the modern. He works for the pass into dominant position. Buchecha is usually the one that plays more of the little man's game going for the legs and feet. Although Buchecha's game is highly entertaining b/c he doesn't seems to get locked into the 50/50. There's a lot of scramble transitions.

Put me in the Rodolfo camp, hes got my favorite game to watch

wow, good match. those guys get after it.

I agree, but imo the points shouldn't have been awarded because time ran out and Buchecha didn't control the position.  As soon as Buchecha landed on top, time hit 0.  There was no control imo.

But had there been control before time expired, there should have definitely been 2 points.

^^^oops I missed that part about the time running out! well then that's sketchy.. Phone Post 3.0

Buchecha won. Time expired but Buchecha's actions resulted in a SWEEP( minus the control due to lack of regulation time )So you would at least have to consider scoring an advantage IMO

If he scores an advantage, he has 2 advantages to Rodolfo's 3.

THEN HE LOST!  lol  He was down 3-2
