Budo videos ripped me off

I paid for the Pans live stream and for nearly the entire black belt finals I got to see about 2mins of the rooster final, and 5 seconds of Clark Gracie finishing his fight. The rest of the time it was just frozen, nothing.

I thought they'd have no issue in giving me a refund bearing in mind they didn't deliver what I paid for, but instead they just gave me a shitty line of "all sales are final"?? They told my mate who had the same problem "the finals are available on replay"... who cares? We wanted to watch LIVE. It's totally different watching when you already know the results.

Just want to put this out there so people know that they will not give a shit if you buy a duff product off them. I've previously bought loads of comp streams from them, and dvd sets etc, but will never buy anything again, especially as all the finals are available on Youtube straight away.

The cost might not seem a lot to some people, but it is to me. Fuck you Budo Jake.

That sucks.
I've bought several streams from them and never had any issues. Phone Post

We were driving back from Pans to Phoenix and had no problem with the stream, weird

I'm in the UK. I emailed them about it at the time and they said they knew they had an issue with the stream over here.

Your computer sucks Phone Post

The Budo Crew are the biggest supporters of the game. Youre acting like a 5 year old man. You can watch the entire event on replay and its edited beautifully.

I hope they dont give you a refund for unnecessarily bad mouthing them, but they probably will reach out to you regardless because thats how awesome their customer service is.

Very uncool post. Phone Post

Hey Rob,

Message me with your order number and we'll get this worked out :)

I've ordered lots of things from them and have never had a problem, from streams to dvds to gis, etc. They have great customer service. You must have talked to the wrong person or something.

There could be many reasons why the video froze. A lot of it outside of budo videos control. You're watching a live stream over the internet, your isp could have had issues.  especially since you are in the UK.

Budovideos - Hey Rob,

Great customer service!

I never had any issue with budovideos and they do more for the sport than anyone. I think your post was unnecessarily rude and uncalled for for one messed up stream. In addition anytime you get a stream of something you know the possibility exists of it freezing. especially if you have a shitty computer, connection, or bandwidth. I guess what I am saying is... don't be a douche. Phone Post

I had an issue once with a gi that I received which had a factory fault regarding the stitching , it was not use-able , Budovideos replaced the gi at their own expense and paid for postage overseas . It took a while but they sorted me out !!!

Also OP sounds like a dickhead !!

Same thing happen to me. Whatever, $10.95 is not going to break the bank, but I probably won't order again b/c this is the second time in a row.

I've never had an issue with them and done lots of stuff with them.

I once had an issue with a duffle bag missing a strap and they sent me anew one right away and payed to have the defective one picked up. I buy from them on a regular basis and their customer service has always been top notch. From reading the thread title I was expecting something truly awful happened. Not cool.

Jake is a good dude. You could have approached your post a little differently but they will still take care of you as you have seen above with their response. Phone Post

I had an issue with a DVD a while back. I felt as I was treated as If I didn't know how DVDs worked. The disc didn't work in any number of newer players I tried it on. I eventually got my money back. The amount wasn't right. I emailed Budovideos and never got a response. I've since switched where I pick up my instructionals. Phone Post 3.0

I had some issues. not enough to complain, but i dont doubt the OP's story. I can see that budo is in a bind with this because they almost have no way of knowing who is lying (received stream fine and then say it was poor quality)

ive had good customer service when dealing with budo for tangible products, so i dont think they are out to scam anyone.
