You have to win each round BIG in Canada based on Ring's last fight.
This should be good
Chomas - I wouldnt go into the fight stiff or hell take advantage of you

I happen to know for a fact that he is vulnerable to the flying scissor gogoplata.

You used to fight in the MFC? How was that promotion?
Never forget that refs will allow you 1-2 courtesy low blows, "accidental" eye pokes and fence grabs if necessary.
He only has 2 TKO wins, the rest are decisions and submissions. This isn't to say he can't KO you(his background is in kickboxing), but I think you're safer on the feet with Nick Ring than the ground. He is a brown belt under Roy Harris, and the proof of the danger seems to be in his submission wins.
As far as technical striking plans I'm sure other forum members are much more educated than I am, but I'd outstrike him without getting into a brawl, and without head hunting, looking for TD's with 60 seconds and less in the round. LEG kicks are king, he has a bad knee (Sorry Nick) but don't get sloppy and get taken down.
Two words...... BABY OIL
Yeah, lot of pressure. You gotta rise above it. You gotta harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. Feel the flow, Chris. Feel it. It’s circular. It’s like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse. It goes up and down....and around. Circular. Circle. With the music. The flow… all good things.
Check his oil before he checks yours?
Jab jab cross
Also.. windmill uppercuts are the "in" thing this year. He'll never see it coming.
Maybe even try some spinning shit when he gets a bit tired.

He may be susceptible to this..
I knew this thread would make me laugh
The key is to keep him guessing, throw a couple feints, check the oil, change up the strikes etc.
Be careful if you end up on top. Nick has been known to be a power bottom.
