Butterbean by Armbar...wtf

juju bean

"most likely Dana White had something to do with it"

LOL!

Good job by Butterbean. Sub win. Cool.

" Tomato Can, how so?? That is f'n stupid.

Do you not believe the guy is one tough bastard?"

He is an obese freakshow with very little talent. He was the laughing stock of the boxing world. Every time he wins an MMA fight some boxing douchebag gets to say "see, even Butterbean can do well in MMA".

He didn't fight for any MMA championship belts like he did in pro-boxing.

It seems to me that BB is getting fatter and fatter everytime he fights. What do you guys think? Btw. he's listed at Sherdog at 159 kilos (350 pounds), here they say he's 185 kilos! (Though the Japanese do sometimes exaggerate the numbers)

Best part was him pulling a Monson and yelling "jiu jitsu bean!" after he won.

Props to the guy for actually learning submissions rather then just being helpless on the ground.

no he does look like he's expanding as he gets older

Pretty sweet BB subbing a brazilian jj fighter.

LOL GOOOO BUTTER BEAN WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo.

He needs to create BTT(Butterbean Top Team), for some reason that has a nice ring to it.

The Bean tried the move a couple of times but had to work really hard to pull it off. It wasn't because Zulu was fighting it, it was because Butterbean's arms were too fat to drive in deep enough to grab the wrist.

Totally true. Watch him struggle to try and get his arm in there.

Gotta love the victory by Americana submission - rare to see that one hit in MMA, guys get too sweated up and they usual squirm out.

No squirmin out from under that elephant size dude!

WAR BEAN!!!!!!!

Oh rly? What "championship belts" did the Bean fight for in boxing?

TTT

Boxing career

While a majority of his opponents were technically limited, club level fighters early in his career, he did move up the ranks to win the IBA World Super-Heavyweight Championship. Butterbean faced former world champion Larry Holmes in 2002. Holmes won a unanimous 10-round decision with Butterbean credited with a knockdown in the final round. Esch's most recent title shot came on October 15, 2005 where he lost a split decision against George Linberger for the NABC Super-Heavyweight title.

He had a hard time trying to get that kimura on Zulu that's for sure.  He made one attempt and then couldn't get it cuz his arms are so big.

None of those are remotely legit titles. Hell, "super heavyweight" isn't even a real division in boxing!!

"BB has legit fighting skills, sorry TC."

Not really. I mean, he's pretty good for a 380 pound blob, but that's about it. Sorry TIITA.
