Two UFC vets on the bill in Dublin, Ireland.
Owen Roddy beat Shannon Gugerty via decision (albeit a very close one) and Salaverry lost to Fraser Opie via DQ following an illegal kick. He did lose the first round of that fight too though.

I was there last night. Great fun.
The Roddy v Gugerty fight was very close as you say. Roddy was busier but Gugerty did more damage. I think Roddy mentioned the possibility of going down a weight class after the fight.
Paddy 'The Hooligan' Holohan is some character! Showed some great sub techniques against Artemij Sitenkov too.
Oh and Johnny Dargan has serious power! (very quick KO of Keith Elliott)
Pity Monson had to pull out (he was in attendance cornering Salaverry). Dean Lister was also there cornering Gugerty.
Cool to see the SBG gang with John Kavanagh, Ais Daly etc. around too.
Any other UGers in attendance?
Carson's Corner radio show - No point deduction or warning for Salaverry? I guess it's "any which way you can" when Cage Contender wants you to get the belt!
Yeah I was wondering about that! If Opie couldn't continue fair enough you have to stop it, but he looked fine! Was the only buzz kill that night. It got stopped in such a weird way. Couldn't understand why he just didn't take a point.
Opie was supposed to fight Monson originally.
If Opie was unable to continue and it was an intentional illegal blow then a DQ is the right call. Opie isn't Irish or local (he's South African and based in England) so I can't see there being too much bias in his favour.
I wasn't there Skeletor but had two guys there for Your MMA - a few interviews and stuff coming up!
Roddy hints at a move to bantam in the interview.

Yeah I thought I heard him mention dropping down. Was very difficult to hear the fighter's post fight interviews.

Paddy Holohan interview is gas.
Interview: Paddy do you want to go to the UFC or do you want to win the title here?
Paddy: I want to go to the pub! I'll go to the UFC after the pub.
Funny bastard.
Haha, yeah. He seems like a real character. First interview I've seen with him but I'm a fan.
