Im a BIG Fedor fan, and he is still the greatest, but Im probably not the only one who has been waiting to see who would come along and be the next undefeated fighter, who steam rolls everybody for years to come. Cain is kind of quiet, humble, has great cardio, and damn sure seems to be getting it done in there. He still has quite a few fights to go before being compared to Fedor, or called the greatest of all time, but it's interesting seeing how things are playing out in front of us!
Cain is undefeated.
Cain is a badass, no question. He is similar to Fedor in his calm demeanor, refusal to talk trash, speed, and explosiveness. Cain is the better wrestler and Fedor has the heavier hands. Both are like terminators that keep coming forward. Fedor became champ at the age of 25/26 and Cain has become the champ at the age of 28. I'm a big Fedor fan, but I think his prime is over. Cain's should still be a beast from now till at least the age of 32.
cain has the attitude and work ethic to be one of the best to ever compete in this sport. the guy is always wanting to improve and always critiquing his fights and wanting to work harder and learn, that is the attitude that will make him a legend up there with sak, fedor, nog, liddell. the guy comes into every fight the same way and doesnt have an off night. i dont see anyone beating this guy for a while.
btw i called first round victory for cain, huge cain fan and cant wait to see his career of ass beatings
I've been calling him The Mexican Fedor for a long time.
I only see Fedor or Overeem or Dos Santos having decent shots at beating him. Sadly, only one of those fight will likely happen.
Cain could be the next Fedor? i was thinking the same thing
Too early, I think Dos Santos can KO cain.
Cain's a bit bigger than Fedor too.
Cain may be a little bigger, but he isnt riding off of his size alone, like some fighters. Not the biggest, or strongest, but technical, and patient.
Mma_Dawg - Too early, I think Dos Santos can KO cain.
While this is possible, it will be interesting to see. He seems kind of one dimensional.
Cain reminds me of Couture, kinda
He's like Couture in that he has natural talent and a champion's work ethic.
I could see Cain either holding the belt or fighting for it throughout his entire career.
Too soon to compare with Fedor but the potential is there.
Like Fedor he is dangerous everywhere.
He is just hitting his prime now.
Time will tell.
But he has the potential to fill the void if/when Fedor is done.
Cain is Mexican silly, he can't be Russian.
