Cali HS wrestling weight minimums would this work?

In California high school wrestlers have to complete a hydration test that determines their minimum weight class. They can't wrestle in a lighter class than they test for.

The lowest weight class at which a wrestler may compete will be determined as follows:
a.?If the certified minimum weight, at 7% or 12% body fat, is exactly that of one of the adopted weight classes, that weight shall be the wrestler’s minimum weight class;
b.?If the certified minimum weight, at 7% or 12% body fat, is greater than one of the adopted weight classes but lower than the next higher weight class, the next higher weight class shall be the wrestler’s minimum weight class

This is how they conduct the test:

Could this work in MMA? Could an organization, like the UFC, establish a healthy minimum weight class through a process such as this? Phone Post 3.0

This is the sauce for the 7% body fat part

I know high school programs / kids that cheat that system...

Pretty sure pros that have no problem using PED's wouldn't have a problem cutting corners...

Sounds good in theory though, maybe Dana can put some if there best men on it policing test Phone Post 3.0
