Kattar shouldnt win by jabbing all night although it was clearly effective, it needs to be used to set up your power shots to try to finish or damage your opponent. Towards the end he started going for it but it was too little too late at that point. really good fight tho.

As the in-fight tweets showed, people’s scoring of this fight was all over the place.
To that point, i had it 2-2 going into the 5th too, but had josh winning 1 and 3 and calvin winning 2 and 4
So we saw the rounds differently and that’s fine. This was a close fight and as long as you have 48/47 either way you’re good. My surprise was Josh’s corner telling him he’s up 3-1 which I, the Commentators and Kattar’s corner disagreed with it. It was 2-2 going into the 5th and I believe the 5th Round Kattar was able to use his reach ability to outstrike Emmett because of Emmett’s ability to score impacting strikes that he landed in rounds 2 and 3. Kattar was the more Effective Striker in the 5th. 48-47 Kattar.

I understand and respect that opinion. It does seem like a lot of fights these days are basically kickboxing matches. In this particular fight i don’t even think there were many kicks at all.
