Team on Team Grappling was introduced to the Camp Pendleton Commanding Generals Cup Competition series this year. The event was held last Weds with 20 Teams entered representing various units within Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
The format was similar to a collegiate wrestling dual meet but under United States Fight League Grappling rules which stress aggression, positional dominance and submission attempts.
The inaugural event was very successful with both athletes and command staff seeing the value in such competitions.
