Can 12 year old wrestler take down average guy?

Would you say the average 12 year old wrestler takes down an average adult male who doesn't wrestle/grapple ?

In a grappling type match?

If caught unawares?

So many variables in this question I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Size and strength of the guy would play a factor

Never been to a Wrestling practice...

I've seen COUNTLESS kids crush adults with proper technique.

They'll get the TD easily and the weight / height would only make it easier.

I never said hieght. I said size and strength

Can we get a pic of12 year old Brock,I'm sure he could take down some guys easy

Not the average 12 year old wrestler, no. It would have to be an above average wrestler and then the answer is

All Day Nigga

I know plenty of 12 year olds that if they hit a low single sweetly with plenty of traction on any of the pussies I know ranging fron 18-99 it would drop them like a sack of shit.

Are those average 12 year olds hitting the low singles? Sounds like you're describing seasoned/elite level 12 year olds.

Life's that hard for substitute teachers these days?

so true.

avg. grown man age ranges from 18 to 85 years old.

but i would say yes to your question.

the 12 year old may manage a takedown  but what happens after?

Seems like you people need to look up the meaning of average.

the school that my son goes to there is a multi year NJ state champion youth wrestler that is about 11 or 12 he was about 100-110 lbs and would demolish the average man in a wrestling man

the school has other middle schoolers that would wreck the average man

yes

If the kid has been wrestling a long time i would say yes. These kids start @ 5 years old and have the technique and strenght and quickness to take dowm most people, especially if their around the 100+ pound class.

I coach youth wrestling.

This is mostly based on weight. At 12 years old I wrestled in the 70# weight class. I can tell you that no healthy, average sized (5'10, 180#) man is going to be taken down by someone that size.

That said, there are 150 pound 12 year olds that could do it.

Skill level is much more important when people are of a similar size. I've wrestled my whole life (165#) and it would be very difficult for me to take down an NFL lineman sized person. Physics are a real bitch.

Yes

Yes, but depends. Certainly, if the adult wasn't expecting it, then yes.

A 12 year old definitely could if they were a good enough wrestler, but the average 12 year old wrestler would not be good enough.

An adult with 6 months sprawl training?
