Can GSP really come back

Last year I had a knee surgery that left me on crutches for 3 months no weight bearing. But I'm overweight and in my late 30's. but I do trane from time to time.

It's been over a year since I had knee surgery and it's Always on my mind. Everytime I roll weird on it at all the first thing on my mind is shit is my knee ok?

Ok cook story bro I know.

But gsp is already mentally weak. I wonder how much his knee surgery will be on his mind.

Would like to hear from guys who have had knee surgeries.

An you really come back 100%? Phone Post

Where are you getting that he is mentally weak?  Because he was complaining about his vision in a fight where he was getting repeatedly poked in the eye?

There was a really good article I read somewhere about this a while back when he first got surgery.  It talked about statistics of return from the same injury in other sports compared with MMA. I'll see if I can find it...

Did Shogun come back? Phone Post

I get what you're trying to say, but that line is ridiculous.

You don't become a world champion being mentally weak. You don't go through the type of training regimens he goes through being mentally weak. He doesn't even fold under pressure. He came back in the first BJ fight after taking a beating the first round and won.

LOOKING AT THE GSP INJURY: WILL HE BE THE SAME FIGHTER HE ONCE WAS?

Joe Lauzon had the same ACL injury.  So did Dominick Cruz.  I don't think GSP's mental toughness is a question at all.  It will have been almost 2 years since he last fought when he returns. I would think physically would be a bigger return than his mental state. That's not an easy injury to come back from, and still be 100%

using your personal experience with a knee injury is a joke, do you really think your at the same level as gsp.

Funny photo.

I should have pretended that with in my opinion.

This is just in talking with some of his training partners.

After the Alves fight evidently he was totally freaked about why Alves was able to get up so easy. He questioned his wresting and if he was really that good

After the Serra loss he questioned if lost his chin.

After the shields fight he was broken (look at his comments he made in the corner and tell me he wasn't mentally broke).

Anyway my question... Again was to fighters about how they have come back from a knee injury. Phone Post

You think that makes him mentally weak? Those are the qualities he used to become one of the best fighters in the world, and it makes him mentally weak?

I'm pretty sure this is just a troll or a veiled attempt at fighter bashing. Already lots of good threads on how GSP may come back and you post this garbage. Phone Post

Go fuck yourself OP, shameless troll. Phone Post

OP, why don't you stop being a fat miserable fuck? Maybe then you wouldn't be projecting your insecurities onto GSP. Phone Post

GSP probably has mental weaknesses like any human being, but whatever they are, he has found a way to succeed in spite of them.

 this,

Even if he isn't the same, he will still be better then everyone else. He can win any type of fight he wants to, striking or wrestling, fast paced or slow paced, boring or exciting

I bet you're right. Ring rust will probably hurt more than the injury, but I think he can still dominate.

He will definitely be back to make a statement, I hope he can finish for once Phone Post
