Where can I find out all about the Canadian Abu Dhabi trials? What events to attend, how to qualify, official rules etc etc?

Cool, thanks joe. So how does this all work? Candian Trials? North American Trials? How does one qualify to compete? Just show up?
I can't promise when anything will be up as I'm still ironing alot of details with the Showdown sale.
In essence, it's very simple. You must compete in the Canadian Trials to make it to the North American trials...to make it to the World Championships.
Just follow the regular steps...national, continental, Worlds...simple.
The issue I am having is I will be running the trials at the same time as a BJJ tournament. One has to be ready to compete back to back or withdrawl from one of the brackets should he be called up to two different mats. That's the risk a fighter will have to take. Of course, I will do everything in my power to avoid this 'fluke' situation.
The BJJ tournament will be 3 levels, while the NO GI will be one skill level only. Of course, this is just the beginning of the planning stages, so things may change.
Ok, just to make sure here. It will definitely be on August 7th, right?
