Travis Galbraith steps down?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

from the news and discussion KOTC forum:

After much thought and with the permission of Ken Kupsch I am hear buy stepping down as Middle and Light Heavyweight Champion. In order to free up my availability to fight for other organizations and to further my career. I would like to thank KOTC for everything. They have helped me develop as a fighter and establish my self in MMA. I would like to say thank you to Ken for all he has done for me.

Does he get to keep his belts?

ive often wondered the same thing! will he get to keep the belts after he leaves! Same question for KOTC, MFC, TFC, CCF, XMMA, UFC and so on! thanks!

Showtime told me IQMMA makes a fresh belt for every championship bout. If you successfully defend, you keep the old one AND get a fresh one.

Whoa!

We are looking forward to a re-match between Dan MacIver and Nick Hinchcliff for the KOTC light heavyweight title.

really that will be a good fight im sure but i really think nick needs to stay at 185 he looks alot better at that weight and it seems to be more of a fit for him!! i wonder who is in line for the 185 pound title!!

That keeps him from overeating lol.

Actually Dan MacIver knocked him out at 185 lbs and it would make a great re-match for the title, but I wouldn't be surprised if he will be given an easier opponent first.

MFC -- against David Heath??????
