Well, that was an experience.........

Some random thoughts:

1) Booing is perfectly acceptable in MMA if used properly

2) The girl that yelled at us for booing then screamed "You Fucking Pussy Faggots" to the fighters was the classiest girl I have ever met

3) How is JayMac's arm today?

4) Yves Lavigne is the man.....made the trek to section 324 just to say hi to Dougie and I (expect photoshops soon)

5) Jason Day made a fan of me

6) Quarry deserves the Order of Canada

7) Affliction Shirts really should be be banned in public

8) Smoked Meat is pretty good

9) My Voice = Gone

10) GSP = God

Sammy fought really well but came up a little short on 2 scorecards. Loved the doubleleg to finish off Round 2. No doubt in my mind he'll be back on track soon. 

Dougie took 800 pictures this weekend, so I imagine those will be up soon.

I agree with everything except number 8...smoked meat is not pretty good in montreal, it is outstanding.

Canario - 7) Affliction Shirts really should be be banned in public


Man wearing affliction shirt siting behind me at the Bell Centre said to his friend in knowing voice.

"He's going for a Chicken WING!" during the Doerkson fight.

Which I think sums up the Affliction wearing UFC fan to a T.

I'd like to add...

11 - In downtown Montreal on Saturday 1 out of every 2 overweight people were wearing a Tapout t-shirt or hoodie.

I would say Affliction and Tapout made about a billion dollars this weekend.

on second thought nevermind, I wear it around the house and to my friends house when we're watching the fights and that's it.

My Paul Buentello Head Hunter t-shirt however.. is obscure enough to NOT make me look like a dork..

Did anyone else get a beer shower when the UFC was done?

TapouT and affliction was ridiculous, at the airport they were everywhere when I landed.

I think I was the only one there sporting the Silva Muay thai college, but hey I like it that way, even if the best P4P fighter isn't supported as much as he should be.

 I complimented a lady who I saw wearing a Sityodtong hoodie, and she turned out to be Marie DellaGrotte...very nice lady.  She was chatting with Valerie Letourneau, who for some reason always shocks me with how gorgeous she is...

Yes. Yves it a true fan and cool as hell. He came up to where the REAL fans were nutty and out of control. That guy needs to be made an honourary member of every fight/martial/mma/bjj/kickingboxing club in Canada.
