Can't deal with Gays at work...

I have nothing against other men who decide they want to suck dick, and i'm totally cool with their choice, however maybe it's just my experience but holy shit do they cause drama at work.

We've had 2 employee's one hired after another for some odd reason (some sort of equal opportunity maybe) that have been nothing but drama queens. They only get along with 1-2 people (females) and any little thing sets them off.

Working in sales you deal with people, whether it's an actual a money making deal or just dealing with other people's issues the job pretty much requires you to deal with both. These guys don't understand that...if the interaction is anything but sales or they are having a personal issue it's like they are a different person. They will give attitude and just be an asshole for no reason towards the client. When you approach them about it, they think you are joking or literally huff and puff and walk away like a spoiled child.

Am I being wrong here?

Customer comes in and is greeted by the faggot, (faggot cause he's an asshole, not cause he's gay) and everything is cheerful till he hears they have a problem and all of a sudden he can't help them and tries to get rid of them. I approach him and ask him what happen and why the customer seemed upset. Whether i visually saw them upset with him or via a survey they receive afterwards. Imedidiatly he becomes defensive and says he didn't do anything wrong and the customer was at fault. How many times can this happen?

So he gets fired for receiving to many bad reviews and surveys ...

we get another hire that is also gay, and now it's the same shit...He asked my boss if he could leave early last week on friday, and my boss said it depends how traffic is, that if it's dead he can go. Ended up being a super busy day, and all of a sudden he has a "stomach ache" and has to go home. Mind you he gets chipotle for lunch and when my boss calls him out of getting chipotle he says its for his mother....so my boss directly asks him if it's because he wants to go home early because she remembers that he asked for it last week. He literally storms out and just goes home saying he needs to go to the hospital lol..wtf?

Is this normal behavior? am i being anti homo here?

He just sounds like an asshole. Phone Post 3.0

You said your boss was a she.....wtf

"Mind you he gets chipotle for lunch and when my boss calls him out of getting chipotle he says its for his mother.."

You boss called him out on where he eats lunch, and then makes him justify it?

I don't understand. Sounds like your boss is the dick.

What type of work environment is this? Is this like store sales, or is it like corporate sales? Also, how old are you?

If you're young (20 and younger) and it's just a retail store sales gig, just roll with it and laugh. Every retail store is just a front for the soap opera drama going on in the backroom. Laugh and enjoy it, because eventually you'll be off to something else.

If it's any type of corporate sales job, or it's more than just retail sales and is more of a long term gig for you. Learn to laugh and enjoy the show. I basically get to stare at a computer monitor that has a brick wall behind it all day. It's boring as fuck at my work, so enjoy the entertainment you have

How do you know they are gay, did they tell you this or just their actions make you believe this? And are they white? And would you say they were attractive? My friend wants to know.

Laughing my rock hard dick off at your last paragraph. From one guy who stares at a God damn computer screen all day to another, that is great advice Phone Post 3.0

Gays and lesbians are the same. Good workers when everything is going fine. As soon as a personal problem pops up everyone knows about it because they make such drama. Phone Post 3.0

Lesbians on the whole are more easily integrated because they aren't so, "affected" with that whole flamboyant nonsense. However, you are right in that their personal lives are far more tumultuous than straight people, so they will have far more personal dramas to deal with and it'll show up at work.

I'm just glad that people will finally stand up to a gay. Our HR was so scared a gay would get upset and cry discrimination, they would get by with murder. Hold them accountable like everyone else . Phone Post 3.0

SensoriaUtopia - I don't think it has a damn thing to do with them being, OP maybe it's just two people who are assholes, who happen to be gay.

I have met gay people who exactly how you describe, and it's annoying and bothersome. But I also have met gay people who are much more saavy and would not act like this.

Ditto with straight people. But I do feel your pain, you probably feel like if you say the wrong thing, even to a fellow straight co worker, that those particular 2 gay people at your work may be nosy and interfere, talk to HR etc....

Okay I hear what you're saying and I've heard this argument before in a variety of applications. But it's purposely deceptive. OF COURSE there are cool people and assholes in every group of people. No one denies this. The point is, at what ratio?

I know some cool gay guys that are so normal you wouldn't even know they're gay. But I know a lot more that typically have 4 or more sex partners a day and party almost every night regardless of it being a weekday. I don't know a significant percentage of straight people I can say the same about.

And it is these guys (a significant portion of their population) that are unreliable and always bringing drama.

My boss isn't a dick, she called him out on it because even before he got food he was going on about how's his stomach hurts and he's been throwing up...he then goes out and gets chipotle for lunch. My boss asks him if eating chipotle is the best idea after he was just saying he wasn't feeling good.

He was bullshitting, if you feel sick and nauseous, you wouldn't be eating chipotle...you go get some toast and ginger ale.

Point is he put on a show instead of just asking to leave even though he knew it was busy. My boss would of let him go, but he tried to be a diva actress about it.

This is a retail sales job for those wondering Phone Post 3.0

I work in entertainment, I've must have worked with dozens of gay people. They're no different than straight people as far as the ratio of drama goes. All groups have their slackers, drama queens, and people who don't know how to behave in professional environments. Phone Post 3.0

Sounds like you just need to give them better training... It's retail sales like cmon gays are typically the best at that shit Phone Post 3.0

I worked with a bunch of gay dudes when I waited tables at Ruby Tuesday in college... Never had any issues with them and most were pretty cool. I did find it annoying that ALL of them were the stereotypical flamboyant feminine gay tho. It was amusing to see how many customers it weirded out as well too.
