always have a hard time finding fights hear in Az for my guys, buts its getting ridicules lately. I have a heavyweight that i feel can be a star, his name is Dan Charles he is 6-0 and no one in Az will fight him, Jacob McClintock at 170 who is training harder then I have ever seen him, Tito Johns who is training with us again and is on a 4 fight win streak. is there a promotion out there looking for real fighters? they will not disappoint.
Good luck!
Time to make your way out of AZ..
TheMessiah -Time to make your way out of AZ..
most local promotions have no interest in bringing high levl talent from out-of-state to fight their best guys, because if they beat the local guys it costs them money in ticket sales.
and AZ's promotions are horrible about building past local events.
stuff like bringing higher ranked fighters (too cheap), or signing contracts, or blackballing guys who duck fights
they'd rather just host amateur fights with 2-3 pro fights as headliners and pocket the cash.
Trevor,
Just today I seen a promoter looking for a welterweight.(might have even been two)
Nevermind,the fights are in Atlanta.
In
Learn how to fucking spell first then you might find someone.
I hear its pretty hard to get fights in Az.
lol.
keep making fun of his spelling, and he'll keep making UFC fighters from scratch
Check out CO to the north bro. Hit up Seth at Fight to Win and Drew at Pariah MMA (on Facebook) or Thomas Denny or Trevor Whitman at Grudge and they will give you the 411. Probably same story hard fights to fill local, so look regional next makes sense. Jackson's in ABQ too - maybe they've got some local shows around for their tier 2 guys.
Good luck man always a lally fan.
Give big sexy a call..
ttt it's hard for pros these days unless you were in the UFC or have less than a couple of pro fights.

That first part isnt true at all. Here in New England we have shows that bring guys in to fight our studs all the time. There are guys here that either cant get fights or have fought everybody in the upper echelons of their weight class and are looking for more fights with top guys.
OP prob doesnt have enough connections in enough places. PM me and I can see about getting your guys some fights out here.

Whether you like Trevor or not he and his brother have been producing good up to great fighters since they first came to AZ.
He is not wrong, the local promoters do not like to pay very well. We're talking for example paying a guy $300 for a championship fight with no travel money. No win bonus.. $300 flat.
Unfortunately there are so many people locally to that are willing to fight for that and a shit ton of ammys to pick from that the promoters in my opinion do not have to step up.

I personally am not a big ACS fan but they have been was around AZ way before Power MMA and the Lab.
I think it's pretty fucking disrespectful for people to talk crap to a guy/team who has had so many athletes in the UFC not to mention many many other high level organizations. Kind of ironic since this is an "MMA Forum"... To each their own

When I was in AZ last time I asked a local promotion to get me on a card.
500$ was the offer.
For Jacob McCklintock.
No thanks.
