Stuck at work until 11, fuck my life. Anything exciting happen so far?
Cariaso was putting on a clinic with some awesome muay Thai combinations in the first and third then went for a takedown in the third and surprisingly got caught in a "power guillotine" as Rogan called it, kind of like what Oliveira hit on Brookins.
I missed the first round but rounds two and three of Holloway/Garcia were great, back and forth, both guys landed big strikes and they both kept throwing. Not the dominant performance I expected from Holloway but he looked good for two weeks notice and deserved the nod for what I saw. (I gave Leonard the second and Holloway the third and it sounded like Holloway won the second).
Finally the Duffman got a nice knockout. After landing a flurry he briefly got taken down but got back to his feet and landed a left and a right uppercut then followed up with 5 or 6 flush straight rights. Somehow de Fries wasn't completely out, but it was brutal.
Minotauro summed it up nice so far
