I was thinking the same thing this am listening to the mma hour. He really is something dude.

Been a while since the Lawler Condit fight..but yeah, that's what I took away from that fight. Condit is rediculously hard to put away.
when Condit was in the WEC i couldnt stand him for some reason, but he was always winning
when he got to the UFC , for some weird reason, he grew on me
and i realized how fucking AWESOME of a fighter he really is......
IMO, one of the best "non gifted", "not overly athletic" fighters to ever step in the cage/ring
his losses in the UFC, other than the woodley fight, were all decisions, with all of those losses, except 1 (kampman), betting Fight of the Night.......and all of those losses (except kampmann) were in fights against a current or future UFC champ
and oh yeah, he avenged the kampmann loss with a finish and another Fight of the Night

I guess chins should probably be seperated by weight and Condit for sure has the best WW chin ever (at least that I can think of) . Whenever I think of good chins though I think of Hunt getting headkicked by Crocop in their kickboxing bout , getting up , and smiling .
I suppose I shouldn't be comparing him to bigger dudes . Also, the Lawler fight was the only time I can recall seeing him "rocked" . Any other instances ?

it's all relative to the fighter...you cant pick the "Best chin" comparing diff guys, esp at diff sizes
you have to look at each indiv fighter and how hes reacted to hard shots in his career
condit faced the hardest hitters in his division and never went to sleep
remember that Hunto (one of my favs) got KOd clean by a check hook from a middleweight
you can see him go limp witht he hook and then again with the straight

All chins have to go at some point. Keep in mind how much damage Hunts head had taken at that point and also the fact he charged directly towards Manhoef. I also don't think being KOd in ones career means their chin is any less impressive . Has to give with time and especially considering all the mistakes one could make. Oh, and by the way Manhoef for sure has to be one of the hardest hitters (especially if you charge at him)
The best example of Carlos chin to me is when he was getting hit by Woodley. If I remember correctly there were moments he got tagged by Woodley and it physically knocked him back but he didn't seem rocked in the least bit. Not trying to take anything away from Condit by the way

Carlos is very underrated. He us an aggressive, smart fighter. Seems like good dude.
