For those of you who haven't heard, 6th Degree BJJ Black Belt, Carlos Machado is coming out to Australia in June.
He will be conducting seminars on the 24th and 25th of June from 12pm - 4pm at Dominance Mixed Martial Arts in Melbourne. Contact Anthony Perosh for Sydney and Brisbane details.
Each Seminar will be 4 hours long at the cost of $110 per person. White belts are on the Saturday, and Blue and above are on the Sunday.
Numbers are limited so you can be sure to receive personal attention from Carlos. Any blues belts upwards who wish to come to both days
can attend for $165.

i am still in la atm training with jean jacques and rigan machado everyday but i am still disappointed i won't be there for the carlos seminar. he is an awesome instructor with an ability to make whatever he is teaching very clear and simple to understand.
do not miss the chance to learn from this guy. the machado bros are it when it comes to bjj and carlos is reknowned for his great teaching. just ask ap if there are any doubts :-)

Exactly Ben...and in remembering that, all the Machados are Gracie Barra black belts. So lets not get into a Gracie/Machado argument. They came from the same place and teach the same thing.
It's nothing more than political BS. As Dave said, there's not a single person in Australia that can't learnt something from Carlos.
So lets see some faces from other clubs come and learn from a great BJJ practitioner.
actually the machado bros (particularily rigan and jj) were the head instructors at barra for quite a time and are responsible for producing some of the best guys around today.
i can go one better than that. rigan actually STARTED gracie barra with carlinos. the machados actually wanted to use the gracie jiu jitsu name here in the states, but thanks to rorions legal eagle ways they were not allowed to. hence rjc machado jiu jitsu.
australia is not the only place with crazy martial arts politics.
benbjj, i do not know you, your rank or any such details, but i can tell you you will definately not be disappointed with carlos machado. i would assume the prices will be similar for the nsw seminars. it is well worth the spend.
As some have already said, Carlos will be here at my gym in Brisbane on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of June.
Very much looking forward to this visit. Having Carlos here two years ago was awesome, I'm expecting this to be just as good (hope I can last fractionally longer against him in a roll tho :s).

The Sydney dates are this saturday for white belts and Sunday for blue and above. Both at SPMA and both start at midday.
On a side note, Carlos is here and wandered into the gym tonight. He spent the class mucking around in the ring with Clay (another Texan Black belt). Just watching him work is awesome, every movement is deliberate.
