Can anyone give me pricing for unlimited training @ the Carlos Machado jiu-jitsu school? No information is posted on his website.
Does anyone train @ the school or have any idea?

If you want the best in BJJ it is Carlos Machado you pay for what you get. He is the father of BJJ in the state.

I think around $150/month now. But carlos is defintely worth it if you can afford it. Yousef in Carrolton is awesome as well (and a bit cheaper) - Iranian Olympic team member, Judo and BJJ black belt. Super nice guy as well. Yousef teaches takedowns which is a huge plus compared to most BJJ gyms.
Pretty much every black belt in town is descended from Carlos to some degree.
But that being said he's produced a lot of good instructors.
Yousef was a gifted grappler back in the 90s I can only image what a beast that guy must be w/ a bjj bb.
But I swear it's like buying a car joining a bjj club in town, you literally get sat into an office and have to negotiate a contract.
Huh, both Carlos and Yousef are pretty straight forward in my experience. Their prices are set- no hard sell or negotiating. Both are incredibly nice people and very ethical.
Maybe other gyms are like what NameCaller described?

$150 is far from outrageous. I could afford that no problem. Is that for unlimited training? I think I might just check them out.
