Does anyone elses cat growl like a dog? Iām not talking about your typical cat growl, Iām talking growling just like a dog and running to the sound that caused it. Francis is amazing.

Mine doesnāt growl, but tries to bark instead of meow. And it doesnāt purr.

Mine does, sheās like a guard cat, when some stranger walks just ouside our fence she gowls in his direction.
It was a stray cat before but im pretty sure she lived with another family and grew up with dogs.

Any rural folk here have barn cats?
If I were to come back as a cat Iād want to be a barn cat
My friend and his wife have a ranch up north with a barn cat. Heās a hard-working cat, hangs out with the dog, kills rats and mice, keeps the horses calm. Seems very laid back and mature, seems like the sort of cat you would trust with your car keys.
