Folks, yeah well AZ does have a lot of folks that train or have trained in some martial arts or in mma, been growing a ton over the years. With that you'll find a lot of "wannabe's" as grapple girl so mildly put it hehe or those that really over emblish(sp?) on there skills.

This is too much. I think the funniest guys are the ones that are somehow always injured so they can't roll with the big guys so they end up wanting to roll with me weighing in at all of 130lbs. LOL, I still hand them their butts then they don't want to roll with me anymore either. That's when they pair up with the teenagers and even they tap him out. Chumps always make me feel so much better about myself. :D

a guy came to work with us one time, just out of highschool. He always talked to people about martial arts and someone told him that I trained also, so he came to me asking what I took, he said "do you know who Ken Shamrock is? thats what I take shootfighting." I asked who he trained with, he named a local kenpo guy I new so I told him I new him but didn't know he was a shootfighter, he started changing up his story when I asked him when they met so I could workout with them

I overheard a guy telling stories at the bar a couple months ago. He was guzzling beer and chain smoking while telling everyone around him that he is in training for "The Ultimate Fighting Challenge" and how his instructer has trained many fighters for "The Ultimate Fighting Challenge". I know for sure that no one from here has ever fought in the UFChampionship. I would have pressed the issue with him but I was with my wife and she wouldn't like it if an argument started so I just laughed and went back to my table.
I was working out at Gym by my club and came across this lady. She was asking me some thing about lifting because she was watching the weights I lift. I ask her if shes just doing it to get in shape or if shes doing some competitions.
The lady replys to me how she is a Champ in that "Ultimate Fighting stuff" I say wow that looks prett hard to do. She replys with "Yes it's prety tough in the cage". I then ask her where she Fights and she says that she is the Womans Champ in Rage in the Cage. Thats when I got a little pissed. I tell her you want to hear something? I'm the womans Champ in Rage in the Cage! She gets this blank look on her face and asks if I'm joking? I say look don't be telling people this stuff because it's not true and if you want to Fight me just let me know. She then says sorry and shakes my hand and leaves I have not seen her again.
