The UGC has some news about PPV but I'm not quite sure where this stands now.
PPV is not what it's cracked up to be. Not in Canada at least. It's an expense, not a money maker right off the bat.
With PPV in Canada, MMA events actually lose money. You take it to the states, then all the illegal customers still get it for free, be it here or South of the Border.
It's a fine line...there aren't as many people who buy PPV as there are those who 'say' they do.
Please promotors ! I want PPV's I can steal !!!

After reading this post I get the image of Gerry Seinfeld videotaping movies for the blackmarket. And requesting more camera's so he can shoot the flick from different angles.
When I was with the UCC I spoke to Bell XpressVu in depth about PPV opportunities. He told me that they estimate for every buy we got that 9 others were stealing it. I guess that sums it up huh?
