These two are some of my favorite light weights but I just can't call this fight. I think Cerrone might have the edge in striking, he has solid kickboxing. Diaz has solid boxing also Diaz has an excellent ground game and very well could catch Cerrone if it goes there. I think Diaz has more heart though.

I'm picking Cerrone, but would not be shocked if Nate slapped a submission on him.
You're right, this is an intriguing fight. Although, not being sold yet on Nate, he really has something to prove tonight. Which he could do even if he doesn't win (i.e. a close, competitive war).

These are the match ups I like to see... And yes alot rides on this fight for Diaz but Cerrone as well. This is the type of fight that solidifies their place in the UFC.

really tough to call! i think nate's boxing style can fluster cerrone, but it seems like everyone is jumpin on the cerrone train, he's beaten some great fighters, but nates fought the best for a while, and it's always been competitive.
