I personally think paul harris has a good chance of ripping of chael's leg.
I don't agree with chael winning 1 time then getting the title shot.

Chael getting heelhooked by a raging Palhares + slow-moving ref = wheelchair time for Sonnen.
I think the fight could be big trouble for Sonnen if he does his usual takedown to gnp strategy, but I think Sonnen wins it easily if he uses his superior wrestling to keep it standing. Sonnen has a lot of reach and did well against Silva standing, I think he's got more than enough to take it to Paul Harris in the striking department.

Jacare and Harris' tds are better than Maia's. Also the wrestler than Jacare lost to has something Chael doesnt.
I think Chael will steer clear of these guys if he's smart. He's got 1 win post Andy and his mouth. He aint takin no chances.
This thread was already discussed today but i'll bite, palhares is not like any other bjj guy in mma he has the best wrestling out of any bjj guy on top of that he doesn't care if he gets the takedown he will drop down himself and i think chael will engage on the ground, i'd take him over sonnen its a horrible match up for chael, as long as toquinho doesn't do something crazy he wins 100%. I think standing sonnen has reach but palhares has the power advantage.
Luke Rockhold has TKD kicks. Chael has much better boxing.

Palhares lost 29-28 and that was 5 ufc fights ago and his 2nd fight in the ufc against a veteran, and there were some hairy situations, i have also never seen hendo so cautious in his life, i just think if anderson, maia and filho have been able to catch chael in recentish times the odds of a guy like palhares who is the most dangerous of all the bjj guys in mma catching him are good.
I think that this is a horrible style matchup for sonnen.
I think sonnen should have to beat maia as well.
Dana is as likely to match Sonnen against a ground specialist like Palhares as he was to match Hardy against a strong wrestler before setting him up against GSP. Dana is setting up The Sonnen/Silva fight. Stann was the prefect guy to feed Sonnen.
