Anyone know anything about Charles Staley or his programs? I've seen alot of positive feedback about him on the web but was wondering if anyone here used his programs?
EDT is superior for quick gains in size. He knows his shit.
He definitely knows his stuff but I thought his book on MA training sucked
I own his "The Science of Martial Arts Training" and overall I was disappointed in what it contained (namely: exercise descriptions and then some very basic programs).
I'm not sure about this new package that he has, I suppose careful review of reviews would be in order. I think his EDT style training, and his view that martial artists should work on maximal strength and use only the basic lifts (wide stance squat, bench (military press), deadlift).
Those are perhaps the most important aspects that I have taken from coach Staley.
