Cheapest Thai Pads and Focus Mitts

Where can I get really cheap, decent focus mitts and different kinds of pads.

www.ringside.com

Contender Product line is the cheapest but much better than anything offered by century.

Avoid getting RINGSIDE MUY THAI COWHIDE PADs...get fairtex or twins...well worth the money unless u are a real lightweight.

...socks and couch pillows?

I have the Ringside Thai pads (the blue and red ones) and really like them. Dont go cheap or you are just wasting your money. Buy generic cereal and cigarettes, not training gear.

I'll second those contenders.

Avoid CENTURY MUY THAI pads...they use YARN as their stiching. Fairtex pads are really descent. For focus mitts...u can pretty much settle for the CONTENDERs.

Like everyone has posted never buy cheap training equipment or you won't be able to use it very long. Save up your money and gets some striking mitts and thai pads from fairtex, ringside or twins.

you get what you pay for...

do curved focus mits need a strap to stay on or does the curve help them stay on enough by itself.

I've seen a lot of curved focus mitts without them and it seems that they might be prone to shifting too much and possibly getting knoked off. Any opinions?

Wres...I have a cheaper version of ringside curve focus mitts...no problem with straight punches...uppercuts and hooks u occasionaly have to readjust but it takes a second or two.

"do curved focus mits need a strap to stay on or does the curve help them stay on enough by itself. "

Curve helps. You can grip them with your fingers

Look at www.woldorf.com and www.combatsports.com I have wholesale accounts with both companies. I can work with you on prices.

I'll 2nd combatsports.com. Great service, great gear. I bought Windy pads and a belly pad. One of the few places that had buckle closure vs. velcro belly pads I could find.
