China’s Covid-19 is a modern day Chernobyl.

Change my mind.

Chernobyl didn't have like one billionth of the effect as COVID did on the world. It was bad for the environment,  but the social and economic impacts aren't even on the radar compared to COVID.

I would say it's many orders of magnitude greater than Chernobyl.  This will affect every single human on the planet.

An additional 150 million people are projected to  die of starvation this year because the food supply chain is broken. Those are real numbers that need to be taken seriously.
