shane, i remember that pretty much the same way, only difference is that the fight was offered to me for marvin 1 week or so before it was to take place and i turned it down, next thing i know i was seeing on okfightnews that marvin backed out. he never backed out as i never told him about the offer. he told me last night he would fight you and i told him you would win that fight, he doesnt care.
Have you asked Marvin why he has a stick up his ass for me? I reffed a fight, then told him why I made my decision to stop it. Not sure where I pissed him off from point A to B. I guess it is a moot point, sometimes people just don't like people. He and I fit that mold. It will never be remedied. Perhaps one day he and I can fight. Not that it will change my disdain for his ignorance. Funniest of all Jesse is one of the guys i was training with when I first started making my come back to fight again. In our first training session I showed him that phantom choke. So I was very pleased watching Marvin lose to that. LOL!!!!
p.s. Tell him I said "It's very obvious he doesn't mind losing."
p.p.s. Also tell him myspace is for 12 year olds, but given his spelling incompetencies, I understand why he still uses one.

when you speek to someon you have to know are they on your level or not. is marvin on your level or you on his? if your answer is no then you cant be offended by his words. at least thats what keeps me from killing some people on a regular basis. he didnt then understand why you stopped that fight and still doesnt. i saw it and i understand and have explained it to him but he didnt see it that way. some people just hate for no reason. capiche?
for the record what i saw was ryan mccurdy mounted marvin and was ground and pounding him, you were telling him to improve his position and he was punching up and also trying to hook his feet under ryans armpits in an attempt to throw him off backwards. as you stepped in to stop it marvin rolled over and scrambled and as you touched them he was escaping. but you had already made the call, he thought you screwed him, i think you made a good call and he escaped in the middle of you stopping it which was too late for him.

It was the elbow that sealed the deal for me on that fight. I couldn't let more of those land. I believe the only reason he escaped was that as I stopped the fight Ryan eased up on holding the position at my intervention.
Does he hate every ref that has caused him a TKO?
I am certain Marvin is not on my level. But he did put hands on me. That is why I have nothing but disdain for him and wanted to punch his face up.

Wanted to address the whole 'Shane, called Marvin out after his first fight.' I had issues with Marvin after his first fight. Due to his stepping out of line and putting hands on me. But I wasn't on point to challenge him due to my weight. As you can see from the above list Marvin didn't fight from 10/08 to 7/09. I was originally supposed to fight in 1/09 but ended up post poning until 3/09. So I could fight on an all ages venue. The fight was offered up after Marvin beat Santillon, I reffed that fight, So I wonder if Babe feels I screwed Santillon on that fight? It is totally clear from his fight activity he was ducking me and to much a coward to take the fight. Nuff said!!!
