However, this is also an example of a person doing an exercise that is inappropriate for their body's particular situation. This girl is actually make certain problems with in her worse. It looked like her elbows were hyperextended from the side camera angle but when the camera pans to a straight on shot her elbows are not hyperextended.

Those pull ups look a little hard on the body though.

Her elbows are hyperextended. She has an odd rotation in her arms so that her elbows are pointing towards the back when she holds the bar like that. That's why you can't see it from the front.
