If Weidman shows up against Andy fighting like he did tonight, he has a chance. If he shows up like he did against Maia, he'll get killed. He is not the Jon Jones of 185 though. Jones uses ridiculous athleticism and length, whereas Weidman is a more well rounded as skilled guy, but much smaller. I'd compare Weidman more to GSP than Jon Jones. Well rounded and methodical on the ground, takedowns = first option, top position wrestler who uses good submissions etc

He took the fight against Maia on like 11 days and spent all of his time cutting weight.
I think he could use one more fight to fine tune his skills and what not, and if he wins that, sign me up for a fight with Anderson. Weidman has really good wrestling in combination with sick jiu jitsu. As long as he's not scared of Anderson he can do what Chael did.

Based on Chael's fights with Anderson, and Weidman's skillset, I think he'd have a very good shot at Anderson..

Andy is the goat. But weidman made munoz to be an amateur tonight. I'm not calling weidman anything but a great fighter. He will get his shot at Andy we will just have to see what he does with it
