Christopher Nolan does it again, masterpiece...

DUNKIRK is getting the highest reviews ever and being called a "masterpiece" and "this film might be the greatest film ever made.."

The man is simply incredible. I cannot wait to see this film in all its glory, IMAX.

Is it in 3d? If not, not interested.

To me, the mark of a true director is what one doesn't see.

He refuses to shoot in 3D. Doesn't believe the technology is good enough yet.

Yesh he doesnt shoot in 3d, interstellar was one of my favorite movie and i watched it in 4dx

hankhill - I worked with him on Batman, the guy keeps to himself, wears at least a sport jacket and collared shirt everyday, and does not view what's being filmed from what it referred to as a " video village" where he would sit and watch a monitor 30 yards away with headphones on. He literally stands just out of camera frame watching from a hand held monitor to be submerged in the reality of the scene. The guy is a true Director and brilliant. On that note, on that same movie I had a great time working with Tom Hardy, that guy is bad ass in every way!!!!!!

Very cool.

Hes right.

Honestly I saw the preview and thought "meh" until I saw Nolan's name. I'm big on directors so I will so watch it even though it's not my typical "spend money at the theater" movie

What preview did you watch that left you feeling 'meh'? This is almost inconceivable to me.

I saw the Dunkirk preview with no prior knowledge of the film attached to Kong Skull Island. It was book ended with Transformers and other CGI shit fest trailers. As I am sitting there trying not to vomit on the guy in front of me, the Dunkirk trailer comes on, and I am mesmerized. Everything about it screamed of fantastic film making. I was absolutely hooked. How someone could see the same preview I did and come away feeling underwhelmed is insane to me.

How was the boy band kid?

In

I saw a ten minute clip when I went to see Rogue One and I knew then that this movie would probably be unbelievably good. The tension in that clip was palpable.

Meh....too many white people in it.

There is zero Morgan Freeman, zero Denzel Washington, and zero Jaden Smith.

I'll pass on this inaccurate nonsense

Yup

Shame on Nolan for not colorblind casting

Get woke, Nolan, its 2017, fuck realism

Didnt the British evacuate at night and not during the day?

It's shot almost entirely in IMAX and 65mm film.

Go see it in a true IMAX theatre for the best experience!

Can't wait!!!

This is far and away the movie I have been looking to most for 2017.

Can't wait to see it. Thursday night.

Theres only a small select group of people who dislike Nolan and I don't get it but whatever.

His only weak movie was the dark knight rises but overall it was still a good movie.

The fact you would vomit from a movie trailer says you may take things way to seriously.

How was Harry Styles in the movie?
