Chuck has discovered the perfect TD defense/counter striking technique by imitating an ape. He had no respect for tito's power what soever. Chuck the Apeman Lideell
he was very low with his arms hanging ans waving at his waist.
Gotta love it, something that finally describes Chuck's "technique" pretty well!
"he was very low with his arms hanging ans waving at his waist."
I noticed this as well. Do you think Chuck keeps his hands so low to bait Tito into going for head strikes? Or does Chuck just have bad defensive habits, that no one can capitilize on because he hits so hard?
LMAO, that is the greatest thread title in the history of the sport! Also a great description. Ape Striking, still LMAO! Someone should make a highlight of Chuck swinging with ape grunting sounds in the background.
"Do you think Chuck keeps his hands so low to bait Tito into going for head strikes?"
Yes, he was looking for and stuck the counter left hook an awful lot of Tito's right hand. He also got caught with that right a few times, but it looked like a tradeoff he was willing to take.
he wanted tito to come in and hit him. he obviously had no fear of tito's punches. You have muay thai, crazy monkey and now APE STRIKING.
Funny, nevertheless, true... I don't know the technical term but by appearance it was apish, furthermore, it seemed as if he used this technique as a tool for leverage to balance or centering himself.
