"Things got off to a rough start for Mike Ciesnolevicz last year when he joined the International Fight League, representing Pat Miletich’s Quad Cities Silverbacks. While the Silverbacks won the organization’s inaugural team title in 2006 with relative ease, the young, undefeated mixed martial artist lost his first two IFL matches. Did he have the mental toughness to adjust to the higher level of competition, or would he falter like other prospects when they first face adversity? "

Niiiiice, Elias!
Even though he doesn't get much time to rest, Ciesnolevicz also knows that his work in the IFL is paying off. Thanks to the organization's deal with MyNetwork TV, Ciesnolevicz' fights are broadcast into millions of homes, providing a tremendous amount of exposure for the young fighter.
"I have seen a few of [my fights on television] and I don't think it's set in that a million people are watching at home," Ciesnolevicz says. "I do get a lot of fan mail on MySpace and stuff like that, and I'm starting to get recognized a bit more than before. So it feels good to get some respect after all the hard work we do."
Bingo! The exposure these guys get is priceless. Tell me how many fighters from other organizations are given the same (or comparable) level of exposure on national TV. My guess is very few.
Good job as usual, E;)
