I think you have it backwards about the fighters Dana likes... Hughes, Liddel & Franklin are liked by Dana because they always stepped up and fought and never bitched at him about $$. They didn't get to fight because he liked them - he liked them because they always fought. Vitor, Tito, BJ Penn... might be good guys and good fighters, but they're a headache for Dana.
