triathalete i know swears by the stuff over gatorade and pedialite
when i lived on the big-I we would drink 10-20 coco's a day=energy was off the hook all day everyday......although some haole's don't have the coco-gene and can't handle it....
X_Rated - LOL at trash talking someone because they are 0-1. He has the balls to step inside the cage whereas you are more than likely a couch potato fan with an opinion
I'm facking saluting you right now brother

ranier wolfcastle - triathalete i know swears by the stuff over gatorade and pedialite
really? im picking up some vitacoco forsure then and see if its better than gatorade/pedialite
Best tasting brands in my experience have been:
Vita Coco
One
However, the taste seems to depend on the crop, as the taste has changed month to month. THat said, Zico and the others I have tried were always less sweet than One and Vita Coco. Find a place that sells them cheap because the price varies a lot vendor to vendor.

Buko juice...or, young coconut juice, is very good for kidney problems and infections.
When i was staying in Mainla, in 2002, i got a bad kidney infection and it felt like i had a stone.
i told my wife to go find some buko juice (from fresh coconuts...not that sweetened crap in a bottle!). She did and i drank as much as i could. It worked.
Just don't get it on your clothes.
Well, where i live i can get them for free...and i used to be able to climb the trees! But that was like 25 years ago ;p
When we lived in ahuimanu we had a Malaysian coconut tree in our yard. They're short so you can pick 'em from eye level.
If you drink processed coconut juice then you're a tard. Drink it fresh for best nutrients and effectiveness. The young ones are green. That's the best...and the sweetest!
a lot of electrolytes. Basically mother nature's gatorade. SO, yeah, definitely better for you than artificial sports drinks and very good for rehydrating.
Obviously, getting actual coconuts is best. Zico seems to be fairly pure. doesn't taste great but drinking it on the cooler side helps. A cold glass of young coco juice after a hard session is super refreshing.
Doesn't hurt for hangovers as well.
Lol you don't know me X-rated, so stop pretending as if you know what I've done
it's pretty expppppennnnnnnnsssssiiiiiivvvvvveeee

Which, the fresh ones? Not always. Maybe in Canada.
These lunkheads saying it taste like dishwater and puddle water are idiots. They've probably never had fresh buko juice. I'm talkin the big green coconuts, right off the tree!
The water is sweet...and when you're thirsty, it quenches like nothing else!
I was once clearing a 7 acre farm for a friend of mine, about 20 years ago. It was in the Fall but it was still hot. And i saw one lone coconut on a tree. Back then i could still climb them. So i got it and when i drank it it was nice & cold...ahhhhhhhhhhh! So refreshing!
In 1987 i used to walk to work every day. There was a guy with a pick-up truck on the side of the road who used to sell buko for $1.00 each. He'd open them up with his bolo and stick a straw in it. Man! Were they good!
Don't listen to these tards who've never had the fresh stuff. They don't know what they're talkin about.
buying coconut water from the store is expensive.....
i've never had them fresh, simply because it isn't readily available to me....

BTW, Don't throw the shells away! They have the young coconut meat inside. It's like jelly. Put some sugar on it and add some mango ice cream with langka, nata de pina, some condensed milk, and crushed ice. Put it all in a blender for a couple quik spins. OH MAN! You talk about some good sweetness! That stuff will rock your world, pare!
