should be lots of women at 145, he could do a Gina/Chris rematch.
Wonder if a women's 155 class would get any traction?

Dunno if anyone agrees, but I don't like Coker taking over at Bellator.. Rebney, unwittingly, made sure that Bellator provided a competitor and alternative to the UFC. Under Bjorn though, it was never gonna worry Zuffa. With Coker in charge, it could build into the new Strikeforce/WEC. If it does, Zuffa will buy them out, and that'll suck for everyone Phone Post 3.0

as much as I support coker and bmma, he needs to start making some moves, I would like for him to raise the minimum pay a bit.. I know they need to gain some traction before Viacom starts giving him more play money. his first two cards did solid ratings, I would assume hes going to try to pick up steam as the year wears on. I think that paying more than a couple grand would actually bring more prospects in and take some from right under ufc' nose.

I don't agree with you, just look at who owns bmma... do you think Viacom will hop at the sight of some change from the ufc? add in the fact that spike seems to be getting more combat sports friendly with bmma, glory, and now boxing under al haymon

I remember reading that coker DID NOT want to sell strike force and was only forced to do so when all of sf stock holders wanted to jump ship and jumped at the first sign of a profit(the ufc offer). also remember reading that coker said he would have pitched sf to spike and Viacom had he known the ufc were going to leave.. which leads me to believe that is one of the main reasons the ufc had more incentive and ultimately bought out sf.

Just imagine how sf would have looked if they had came to spike as soon as the ufc left? the ufc really did do themselves a service in the long run by buying strike force.
