Colbert Report

Best political sitarist of our time is biding a due.

I hope he breaks the mold of stupid late night bands and useless banters with a "side host" and dumb/censored down scripts.

Damn man, I will miss him if he changes/sells out.

I really hope he breaks the stale cracker crust of the same ol late night tv talk show set in motion by Carson, Letterman, Leno and now continued on by Fallon and the other cowards.

Don't get it twisted, sometimes they pressed the limits but it was the artists they hosted that did that, and had the bravery to do that.

I don't want another late night show that's the exact same blue print as those before. Intro, Band, Shitty censored dialogue and jokes, more band, appropriate interviews etc...

Man I hope these old fuddruckers finally realized their demographic has truly changed. Hope Colbert has the clout on his new show to make the necessary changes to stay relevant. If he can't RIP old school Colbert.

Sup, what's the ug about. Let free thoughts flow.

His sitar solos are the stuff of legends. Now that he's free to head to India, he's set to be the Elvis of New Delhi! Phone Post 3.0

Hmm, that's at least a 0.7 on the Charles Barkley Scale.

Keep going son, you're headed for greatness!

Oliver is fuckin' money. I'm glad he got that HBO gig, but I would have preferred he took over Colbert's gig after Stewart.

I like Colbert a lot more than Oliver. Olivers opinion pieces on Ferguson were pretty disgusting.

That being said Colbert will probably have no choice but to tame it down to the point of boredom. Anything different and unusual on late night bombs in the ratings. Its mostly old people who watch that shit and they are only interested in a corny monologue and listening to some two bit actor drone on about his stupid movie coming out. Phone Post 3.0

Agreed. That's why the networks are getting killed in the awards shows now, they are pandering to an aging, and out of touch audience Phone Post 3.0

The final episode last night almost brought a tear to my eye.

I'm just praying he tries to keep his persona on the late show, but I doubt it :-( Phone Post 3.0
