Nobody sits out a year in this sport without a major injury, rarely can Champions do that without an interim being crowned. How an interim champion can sit out a year is beyond me. Chuck Liddell in his prime didn’t do that when he had a title shot waiting for him, he went out there and knocked out Babalu for sport.
