Yes! In fact,  I have been told that a real katana can cut through a pile of logs! (I have actually been told that).

Ye Olde Lunatic: I've been told the same sort of clap-trap... That a 1000 year old Katana in the hands of a 110 pound 70 year old man, could cut clean through a telephone pole.

I didn't even know where to start with that statement...

YL, while you're testing out that 1796, could you attach it to your wrist with a sword knot, then while letting it dangle, run around, fire pistols and throw spears?

Curious minds want to know how that works out!
