I got mine straight from cold steel, 2 sizes used to be available, really same size, one is thicker and about twice as heavy, but same length.

Oh yeah, especially if you threw one, then used another as a yawara's evil twin, to finish the attacker off. Immediately fleeing the scene is probably a better option than waiting for law enforcement to arrive, at that point!
