He wasnt losing the fight, he just went for a takedown and shogun fell incorrectly, it happens. I dont see why everyone is getting so antsy about it. Neither had a clear advantage, one just made a mistake a costly one.
Coleman had his back twice and Shogun was able to roll out..it looked to me that Shogun clearly was better on the ground (this may have changed after Coleman hit him on the ground a few times)
shogun was close to connecting with that high kick and went for three submissions in a row, two of which came after that slam. i think if he hadnt fallen how he did we wouldve seen a shogun victory. immediate rematch!
THe fight was looking like a real good one to me until the injury.
Shogun was doing his thing, trying subs and staying busy, and Coleman looked to be in great shape and all there mentally, he was prepared and primed well for that fight. He defended against the subs and was moving well.
