That motor-mouthing is a debate tactic for everybody in debate. I helped out my kid cousin and judged a hs debate and holy shit I could barely catch half the points they were plowing through. I didn't even have to translate it into English either.
They try to innundate their opponent with info and then hope there's something there that doesn't get addressed. Then they have a gotcha of,"Well you didn't counter this so that means you agree so that's a point for me" type deal. I just faked everything and picked the kid who made me the least uncomfortable.
